Quote of the Day
"Once you have mastered time, you will understand how true it is that most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year – and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!”
~Tony Robbins
Today’s Tip
Do this simple exercise to improve your success in 2025:
Make a list of the 5 things that worked the BEST for you in 2024
Make a list of the 5 things that worked the LEAST for you in 2024
Then, focus most of your efforts this year on doing more of what worked BEST.
Here’s an example: Imagine you own a boutique coffee shop.
What worked BEST in 2024:
Introducing a loyalty program increased repeat customers.
Seasonal latte flavors like pumpkin spice were a huge hit.
Hosting live music on Friday evenings brought in new customers.
Social media posts featuring behind-the-scenes stories had high engagement.
Partnering with a local bakery for fresh pastries boosted sales.
What worked LEAST in 2024:
Expanding evening hours. The sales didn’t justify the extra labor costs.
Spending heavily on print ads yielded minimal new business.
Offering a grab-and-go lunch menu didn’t resonate with customers.
Overly frequent email marketing led to higher unsubscribe rates.
Purchasing high-end furniture for outdoor seating resulted in little ROI.
For 2025, you decide to:
Double down on creative seasonal drinks and promote them heavily on social media.
Expand your loyalty program to reward bigger milestones.
Collaborate further with local vendors for unique offerings.
Make live events a regular part of your schedule.
Limit spending on ineffective strategies, and instead, shift those funds toward areas that generate real impact.
By breaking it down this way, you’re not just reacting but also strategizing. This exercise forces clarity, helping you build momentum where it matters most.
