This Week’s Tip

Most entrepreneurs don’t have a strategy—they have a to-do list. And that’s why they stay stuck. You’re not supposed to be in motion. You’re supposed to be in progress.

So let’s fix that.

Step 1: Define the Game You're Playing.
Are you playing to sell? Build a cash cow? Raise money? The strategy changes completely depending on the game. Most founders never decide—and that’s why they wander.

Step 2: Pick One Big Goal.
Not three. One. You can only hit a target if you’re aiming at something. Want to 3x revenue? Cool. Write it down. Make everything else bend around that.

Step 3: Reverse Engineer It.
Work backwards. What’s the one metric that unlocks your goal? Traffic? Close rate? LTV? Find it. That becomes your North Star.

Step 4: Focus on the Leverage.
Stop doing stuff that doesn’t move the needle. Strategic planning is about leverage. What’s the one thing that, if done better or more often, 10x’s the outcome? Do that. Obsess over that.

Step 5: Review Weekly.
Not quarterly. Weekly. Your plan should live, breathe, and evolve. Most strategic plans die in a Google Doc graveyard. Keep yours alive by reviewing it like it matters—because it does.

No fluff. No guesswork. Just ruthless clarity. Strategic planning isn't about being busy—it's about building a machine that makes money while you're asleep.
